Anderhalf jaar terug dienden we met zovelen afscheid te nemen van Haiko. Haiko was een geweldige kerel die oneindig lief werd gehad. Een synovia sarcoom op een onbereikbare plaats zorgde voor een heftig traject met heel trieste afloop. In de hoop dat beter en specifieker onderzoek naar sarcomen bij kinderen ervoor kan zorgen dat geen enkel kind of diens omgeving dit verhaal dient mee te maken, loop ik graag mee met Run to Kick. Alvast merci voor jullie steun. Al lopend, al stortend, of door onze goodies te verkopen. Daarover later meer!

We have a mission. A beautiful mission. We want to cure every child with cancer.

Find new treatments, improve existing ones, and kick children’s cancer to send it far, far away forever and may it never come back! We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies. Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a joint initiative by KickCancer, Imagine for Margo (France), the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg), the CRIS Cancer Foundation (Spain) and KiKa (the Netherlands). Our aim is to accelerate the most innovative treatments thanks to European financing and collaboration of research in paediatric cancers.
