Team Alice Swims Across Continents

This year, I am proud to join Team Alice in the Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swimming Race on August 23rd, swimming in support of KickCancer. It is a privilege to dedicate this unique crossing from Asia to Europe to Alice, whose courage in overcoming cancer has inspired everyone around her.

Alice has faced one of life’s greatest challenges with extraordinary courage. Thankfully, she is doing well today, and her journey is a powerful reminder that hope, resilience, and determination can overcome even the toughest obstacles.

As I swim from Asia to Europe, every stroke will be in honour of Alice and of every child and family facing cancer. Crossing two continents is an extraordinary experience, but it is nothing compared with the strength and determination shown by those who fight this disease every day.

We have a mission. A beautiful mission. We want to cure every child with cancer.

Find new treatments, improve existing ones, and kick children’s cancer to send it far, far away forever and may it never come back! We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies. Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a joint initiative by KickCancer, Imagine for Margo (France), the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg), the CRIS Cancer Foundation (Spain) and KiKa (the Netherlands). Our aim is to accelerate the most innovative treatments thanks to European financing and collaboration of research in paediatric cancers.
