Je participe à cette course pour soutenir la lutte contre le cancer des enfants, une cause qui me touche profondément… et qui comptait aussi tout particulièrement pour Thom, mon mari.

C’est un combat qui fait écho à notre histoire, et qui me touche encore plus aujourd’hui, surtout quand il s’agit d’enfants.

Thom était un grand sportif. Relever ce défi avec notre fille, c’est une façon de poursuivre ce qu’il incarnait, et de transformer la douleur en engagement.

We have a mission. A beautiful mission. We want to cure every child with cancer.

Find new treatments, improve existing ones, and kick children’s cancer to send it far, far away forever and may it never come back! We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies. Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a joint initiative by KickCancer, Imagine for Margo (France), the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg), the CRIS Cancer Foundation (Spain) and KiKa (the Netherlands). Our aim is to accelerate the most innovative treatments thanks to European financing and collaboration of research in paediatric cancers.
