Dit jaar neem ik deel aan Run to Kick. Ik loop voor Haiko, een fantastische jongen die veel te vroeg afscheid moest nemen na een moedige strijd tegen een synovia sarcoom. Maar ik loop ook voor alle andere kinderen die elke dag vechten tegen kanker. Hun moed, veerkracht en doorzettingsvermogen zijn ongelooflijk

Daarom draag ik met veel overtuiging mijn steentje bij aan Run to Kick. In de hoop dat meer en beter onderzoek ervoor kan zorgen dat minder kinderen en hun omgeving ooit zo'n zwaar traject moeten doorstaan.

Find new treatments, improve existing ones, and kick children’s cancer to send it far, far away forever and may it never come back! We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies. Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a joint initiative by KickCancer, Imagine for Margo (France), the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg), the CRIS Cancer Foundation (Spain) and KiKa (the Netherlands). Our aim is to accelerate the most innovative treatments thanks to European financing and collaboration of research in paediatric cancers.
