Kick ME! / POLITIGO

Aside from giving me an excuse to get fit, I'm excited to have the opportunity to raise money for a good cause.

While cancer research is, without a doubt, extremely important, I'd also like to draw attention to a more overlooked health condition: ME/CFS. It is estimated to affect around 17-24 million people worldwide, yet research into the condition has historically been severely underfunded relative to its disease burden.

So, while every donation made through this page will naturally go to KickCancer, I'm pledging to match each donation with an equal donation to ME Research UK at the end of the fundraising drive.

We have a mission. A beautiful mission. We want to cure every child with cancer.

Find new treatments, improve existing ones, and kick children’s cancer to send it far, far away forever and may it never come back! We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies. Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a joint initiative by KickCancer, Imagine for Margo (France), the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg), the CRIS Cancer Foundation (Spain) and KiKa (the Netherlands). Our aim is to accelerate the most innovative treatments thanks to European financing and collaboration of research in paediatric cancers.
