Kanker is zwaar en oneerlijk. Niemand zou dit moeten doorstaan en al helemaal geen kinderen. De zware medicatie, de vele trips naar het ziekenhuis, de beperkingen die het met zich meebrengt. Het is bewonderenswaardig hoe dapper Louis gedurende dit hele proces blijft! Toekijken hoe mijn zoon dit gevecht aangaat en zelf niets kunnen doen… Lopen om extra geld in te zamelen voor onderzoek naar kanker bij kinderen, dat is wel het minste. We krijgen de beste begeleiding bij het UZ Leuven en zijn hier ontzettend dankbaar voor! Maar betere medicatie zonder bijwerkingen, het zou zo fantastisch zijn. Voor Louis en voor alle andere kinderen: run to kick cancer!!

We have a mission. A beautiful mission. We want to cure every child with cancer.

Find new treatments, improve existing ones, and kick children’s cancer to send it far, far away forever and may it never come back! We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies. Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a joint initiative by KickCancer, Imagine for Margo (France), the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg), the CRIS Cancer Foundation (Spain) and KiKa (the Netherlands). Our aim is to accelerate the most innovative treatments thanks to European financing and collaboration of research in paediatric cancers.
