Dit jaar loop ik met mijn hartendiefje 🩷 Rufus 🩷 diep in mijn hart over de finishlijn. Uiteraard gekleed in het roze, Rufus’ lievelingskleur 🦩.

Ik loop samen met het team van HUDERF (Universitair Kinderziekenhuis Koningin Fabiola), onze tweede familie die ons twee jaar lang heeft bijgestaan in de strijd voor de genezing van onze Rufus 🦩. Ook nu Rufus er niet meer is, voelen we zijn en hun aanwezigheid nog altijd en zijn we hen onmetelijk dankbaar.

We have a mission. A beautiful mission. We want to cure every child with cancer.

Find new treatments, improve existing ones, and kick children’s cancer to send it far, far away forever and may it never come back! We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies. Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a joint initiative by KickCancer, Imagine for Margo (France), the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg), the CRIS Cancer Foundation (Spain) and KiKa (the Netherlands). Our aim is to accelerate the most innovative treatments thanks to European financing and collaboration of research in paediatric cancers.
