I was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at 16. I underwent limb salvage surgery to remove the tumour on my tibia and in-patient treatment of chemotherapy for a year. Fighting cancer was the most challenging experience of my life, but thanks to important medical advancements, I survived. I am walking for the Freshfields KickCancer team because cancer research saved my leg and allowed me to live on to become many things including a lawyer (despite the chemo brain)! There's still a lot of work to be done to improve outcomes, reduce long-term side effects, and support better quality of life for childhood cancer patients, so let's Kick Cancer together!

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a joint initiative by KickCancer, Imagine for Margo (France), the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg), the CRIS Cancer Foundation (Spain) and KiKa (the Netherlands). Our aim is to accelerate the most innovative treatments thanks to European financing and collaboration of research in paediatric cancers.
