Team Edith kicks again

Edith a été diagnostiquée d’un sarcome d’Ewing 3 semaines avant Run to Kick 2025, à l’âge de 11 ans. Le jour de la course elle a dû regarder le beau ciel bleu par la fenêtre de sa chambre d’hôpital pendant que des proches courraient en son nom. Cette année, après 14 cycles de chimiothérapie lourde, 30 séances de protonthérapie et une chirurgie, elle va être à la tête de Team Edith pour collecter des fonds pour un avenir où les enfants atteints de sarcome pourront bénéficier de traitements plus modernes, moins agressifs.

Edith was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma 3 weeks before Run to Kick 2025, aged 11. On the day of the race she was forced to watch the beautiful blue sky through the windows of her hospital room while friends and family ran in her name. This year, after 14 rounds of chemotherapy, 30 sessions of protontherapy and an operation, she’ll be at the head of Team Edith, helping to raise funds for a future in which children with sarcoma can benefit from more modern, less aggressive treatments.
