Together for their tomorrow

I’m taking part in this race because cancer has affected many people around me. For a long time, it felt like something far away, something that happened to other people. But when you start seeing how many people in your own circle have been affected, you realise that cancer is much closer than you ever thought.
And when it comes to childhood cancer, it is difficult to imagine what it must be like for a parent to see their own child go through something so difficult. No child should have to face cancer, and no family should have to face it alone.I want to take part because I believe childhood cancer deserves more attention, more support and more resources for research. Research is what makes better treatments and new possibilities possible, but it depends on the support and funding behind it.
These 10 km are my way of contributing to something that is much bigger than the race itself. Because cancer is not as far away as we sometimes think, and that is exactly why I believe we should all do what we can to support the fight against it.
