Hi,

Ik ben Sarah, trotse mama van Mattia en grote broer Elias. Na het overlijden van Mattia voelde ik meteen de nood om Mattia te laten verder leven. Hij leerde me enorm veel facetten over het leven, dingen die jammer genoeg niet altijd even rooskleurig zijn zoals hoe machteloos de wetenschap nog steeds staat in de behandeling van kinderkanker en wat voor een rotbeest het kan zijn. Maar zeker ook mooie dingen zoals solidariteit en liefde voor elkaar. Door deel te nemen aan de Run to Kick hoop ik samen met ons gezin, familie en vrienden zoveel mogelijk het onderzoek naar kinderkanker te ondersteunen. We zullen talrijke acties organiseren ter ere van Mattia om dat inzamelbedrag zo hoog mogelijk te krijgen. Steun jij ons mee? Dikke merci alvast!

Find new treatments, improve existing ones, and kick children’s cancer to send it far, far away forever and may it never come back! We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a joint initiative by KickCancer, Imagine for Margo (France), the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg), the CRIS Cancer Foundation (Spain) and KiKa (the Netherlands). Our aim is to accelerate the most innovative treatments thanks to European financing and collaboration of research in paediatric cancers.
